Living Alone : A Journey of Independence & Reflection

It's been nearly two year since I moved into my fully furnished, serviced apartment, and I can confidently say that I’ve settled into a familiar comfort here. The space provides me with everything I need, from peace and quiet after long work shifts to the convenience of being fully taken care of, allowing me to focus on myself. Recently, I renewed my lease, and alongside that, I’m in the process of renewing my residence visa for the next two years.

As much as I enjoy this sense of stability, my thoughts have been drifting toward early retirement. I’ve spent time considering what my life might look like without the structure of work, but the question of how I’ll stay active and engaged remains. While the idea of more free time is appealing, I realize the importance of maintaining a routine that keeps me physically and mentally stimulated. Whether that means taking up new hobbies, diving into consulting, or exploring something completely different, I’m still figuring out what will bring purpose to my days in this next chapter of life.

With my apartment providing a comfortable retreat, I’m in a great position to explore what comes next, but I’m also mindful that finding meaningful activities will be key to staying fulfilled in early retirement.
